Over the past 15+ years as a workplace relations lawyer and, more recently leading MONA’s People and Culture team, I’ve had the great fortune of working alongside some extraordinary people: The black-letter corporate lawyers. Established by leading workplace relations lawyer Kristina Vermey, COHORTE has been founded on the philosophy that the best results are achieved when opportunities are created to bring a collection of skills, expertise and ideas together, in the same room at the same time. Our approach is relationship-based, seeking first to understand the needs of your business and responding with support that’s strategic, collaborative and smart.

With 20 years’ experience as a workplace relations lawyer and human resources professional, Kris has developed a reputation as a trusted and respected advisor – holding senior leadership positions within Australia’s premier national and international labour law firms for over a decade and working closely with business leaders around the country to develop and support positive workplace outcomes.

Her experience leading People and Culture for the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in her home state of Tasmania has provided Kris with personal insight into the challenges and opportunities associated with managing human relationships within a complex legal framework, as well as a strong appreciation of the great value that can come from looking at things differently.
